KATHMANDU: The audio version of Neelima Ra Gaadha Andhyaaro, a collection of short stories by Anamolmani Paudel, was released here in the Capital on Saturday.

The 74-minute-long “audio book” consists of five stories selected from the print version. There are 12 stories in the print version.

Litterateurs Dr. Govinda Raj Bhattarai, Dr. Bishnu Bibhu Ghimire, Prateek Dhakal, Krishna Dharabasi and Hemanta jointly released the book amid a function today.

Earlier, BP Koirala’s
Jail Journal, Diamond Shumsher Rana’s Seto Bagh and Karna Shakya’s Soch were recorded and publicised in audio version.

Achyut Ghimire has recited the stories.

According to Paudel, this is the first time that Nepali stories have been published in audio format.
